Bronzed Mayfair Loft Project by Anscombs

Our designer Debbie loved working with the client on this new loft room project. Together they transformed this space into the bedroom of dreams. In addition to the bedroom there is the walk in dressing area and a fabulous en suite. The whole room is bright, light and modern with finishing touches such as the vibrant cushions and the hand painted bespoke wall art tying everything together.
The white tiles on the floor and walls of the ensuite create a modern and clean look. The walk-in shower has a bold blue hexagon tiled wall, and carefully placed niches to create space to keep necessary shower clutter out of the way. The Roca Freestanding oval bathtub is accompanied by a Hudson Reed standing bath tap. There is also a niche built into the wall above the bathtub with the same blue tiles as in the shower.
The double sink unit combines shelves and drawers to provide plenty of storage space. There is also a wall mirror, that stretches from the top of the units almost to the ceiling. This helps to open up the room, making it feel larger and more luxurious. The open shelves allow for decorative storage, like how the blue and white towels are used to maintain the colour scheme.
This colour scheme is carried through to the bedroom, where the wall art and some of the furniture has a similar dark blue-grey. The wardrobe doors have a bi-fold mechanism so that they are less obtrusive when open. They open up to a wardrobe with lighting strips to illuminate the range of storage solutions. The range of shelf heights were adapted to be the most convenient for the specific needs of this renovation.
A floor-to-ceiling room divider was built to create another space for more wardrobe storage. This was specially placed to prevent empty space within the room. A range of clothes rails, drawers, shelves and pullouts were designed to create maximum functionality. The lighting strips also help to brighten the area along with the natural light from the window. On the other side of this room divider is the bed with a custom upholstered headboard, designed to match the other furniture. The bedside tables were built with the same cuban oak as the bed frame.
The dark blue-grey 2.5 sofa continues the blue accents found throughout the room, surrounded
by 2 cuban oak cabinets. This creates a tranquil and cosy area perfect for making your morning coffee, neatly utilising this part of the room, that may otherwise have stayed empty.
