The contrasting units above this have a lacquered metal effect. There is also a black glass wall unit, with LED shelves. There is also RGB LED lighting under the wall units and under the worktop. This enhances the sleek and modern style, and when combined with the Iglass grey mirror splash-back it illuminates the kitchen with a colourful glow.

The exposed brickwork also adds to the modern and industrial feel, as well as including another texture that enhances the varied visual effect. The L-shaped island has a Sensa  Granite Black Beauty breakfast bar, which contrasts with the white Dekton Halo worktop. The island cabinets are also light grey, creating a modern design with sharp corners and minimal visual clutter due to the handleless doors and drawer fronts. The Caple wine cooler with black glass breaks this sleek look, but still maintains the modern aesthetic as a result of the dramatic contrast.

Elegant statement pendant lights illuminate the island, in addition to the spotlights and other ceiling lighting. This results in a well-lit central area within the room, highlighting this as the focus area, making it perfect for cooking or socialising. Wall units in the same lacquered metal finish as above the AGA maximise the space above an American style fridge-freezer, ensuring no space is rendered useless. Two Neff Pyrolytic ovens with VarioSteam have 14 functions that can be used for a range of cooking needs, from daily uses to more specific requirements.

Above these is a Neff compact oven with microwave, which helps to maintain the minimalist design by removing the need for a counter-top microwave and therefore reducing the amount of necessary clutter. There is also a Neff Compact Coffee Centre, which can make a range of coffees with just the press of a button. These 4 appliances were strategically placed together in order to create a bold yet functional design. Along the same wall is a Neff Wok Domino hob. Placed seamlessly next to this there is also a Neff Flex Induction hob, with 2 extended flex zones that make cooking with multiple pans at once even more convenient as they can be placed anywhere within these zones.

This hob also has hob-hood control, which means the Neff Flat Slimline Hood functionality can be managed from the hob display. The one and a half bowl Blanco Subline sink with an Insinkerator 4-in-1 hot tap in chrome has a built in soap dispenser. All of this functionality in such a simple and sleek design reduces the amount of clutter needed on the worktop. There is also a fully integrated Neff dishwasher with Timelight, which displays the remaining time of the wash cycle when the dishwasher is running. This dishwasher has 8 programmes, which ensures efficiency and functionality can be maximised in relation to the specific needs of each wash cycle.

The office/media room continues this modern style, with LED strips behind the desks and along the ceiling. Bespoke shelves and panels were built around the clock which acts as a focal point. On one side of this feature, a carefully designed desk setup creates two desks, maximising the space in this small room without making it feel cramped. The desk contains a motorised pop up socket, with two sockets, two usb ports and a bluetooth speaker. This maximises functionality, but can be hidden when not in use, reducing clutter. The other side has a TV, surrounded by units with space for consoles and storage for other items.
